Policies & Procedures

I appreciate that you've chosen me for your massage and bodywork needs. To provide the best service possible to my clients, I have implemented the following policies.

  • Cancellation Policy

I respectfully ask that you provide me with a 24-hour notice of any schedule changes or cancellation requests. Please understand that when you cancel or miss your appointment without providing a 24 hour notice I am often unable to fill that appointment time. This is an inconvenience to me and means other clients miss the chance to receive services they need.

 For this reason, you will be charged 50% of the service fee for the first missed session and 100% of the service fee for each session after that. You will be sent an invoice upon cancelation or missed appointment and will not be able to reschedule until it is paid. I understand that emergencies can arise, and illnesses do occur at inopportune times. If you have a fever, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your appointment time, I request that you cancel your session. Late cancellation due to emergency, illness, or inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charges, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis. 

 

  • Covid-19 Policy

If you have been around anyone or have had Covid-19 in the past two weeks, you need to provide a negative Covid-19 test, or wait 14 days to receive services regardless of your vaccination status.

 

  • Late Arrival Policy

There is a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals to still receive the full time for your session. If you are more than 15 minutes late you can receive the remainder of your time or you can reschedule your appointment and pay the cancelation fee. If you are more than 30 minutes late with no notice your appointment will be cancelled completely, and you will be charged a cancelation fee.

  • Inappropriate Behavior Policy

Massage therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and a refusal of all services in the future. You will be charged the full-service fee regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behavior exhibited we may also file a report with the local authorities if necessary. Treat your therapist with respect and dignity and you will be treated the same in return.

 

  • Inclement Weather Policy

In the case of inclement weather that causes dangerous driving conditions, I may cancel the appointment at no charge to you. You will be able to reschedule without paying any cancelation fees. Furthermore, if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment due to inclement weather, you will not be charged a cancelation fee and may rebook your appointment for a future date. Please do not risk your own safety or the safety of others to make an appointment.

 

  • Phone Policy

Because you are receiving an in-office service, you may have your phone on your person during your session. However, I do believe they are a distraction and should be turned off or put on silent to receive the full benefit of your treatment. If you are receiving a service, you may record or take pictures as long as I am aware that you are doing so. Under no circumstance may you record or photograph me or anyone else during your session without their permission, this is a crime punishable by law under the state of Texas. If you chose to partake in videography and or photography by me please let me know so I can have you complete a media release form.
